Besides Gulf, I am a big Monster Energy fan so when Robby Gordon drove this car last year in Sonoma I just knew I had to do the Carrera COT like it. Since I
am a Dodge fan more than Ford I made it a Charger instead of a Fusion like it really was. Decals are from Jim Heller and its painted in Rustoluem gloss black
and grabber green for the front spoiler, coated with Future to finish it off. I wish I hadnt waited so long to try these cars because I am really enjoying them
and who would have known I enjoy playing with other colors besides orange and blue..

Awesome job on the car! Robby Gordon has driven a lot of cool looking cars. It would be great to see him win a race or two this year. Seems like his best
chance to win a race has been on the road course tracks the last few years.

Great looking car as usual Lee. I know you had to be having withdrawal pains not using blue and orange.

Nice work, Lee!
Are we gonna see a little series of this paint scheme, just like with all the Gulf repaints you've done?

Thanks guys, Im really not even a Robby Gordon fan but like I said I do like Monster Energy stuff and I thought it did look cool on the COT he drove last
year. Jenny, I dont have series of these planned, but I do have a retro Mark Martin COT planned and another that I will keep a secret for now.

Lee,
Great looking car. How did you come to use Rustoleum as your paint choice? I would have never considered it. |

arroldn wrote: I came across some Rustoleum in Harbor Blue that I use for some of my Gulf cars. The only thing is its a gloss enamel but I have come to like using the
enamel instead of the lacquers. Has a nice gloss and is a little stronger. Takes a little longer to dry but I like the results.
