They do look nice. Must be nice watching them go around the track at the same time.

This is why we make these things. A few years ago, we were looking at 1/32 scale stuff and said yeah, those Porsches are really nice, so are those Grand Prix
cars... but that's not what racing looks like to us. Where are the Novas, Mustangs, and Chevelle bombers? Where are the forties and fifties rides? So,
we started trying to find ways to make those cars. Most of all, I just wanted a Nova slot car. The 76 Nova was the first Boss Body made. We also decided
that, even though we never expected to make any money at this, we should make some "smart choices" to offset the costs of developing the cool stuff
that I wanted. So, even though Matt's picture is what I had pictured in my head as a goal, we made a Skyline, Viper, Lancer, Subie, and some other stuff
to appeal to the Gran Turismo and Tuner crowd. Smart business sense right? Well, we've never sold a Subaru or Lancer. We've probably sold a dozen
total of those types of cars total, all models combined, in our three year history. The rest of our sales have been pretty much what Matt has pictured here.
We just wanted to thank all of you folks for teaching me to not sweat the details and just make cool stuff. Seeing that picture, and the pictures from all the
rest of you hot rodders, oval guys, and hammer heads makes it all worth it.

Superb cars!
WHERE are you getting the decals for such? I'm just returning to slots (see my intro post) and want to get back to my roots of enjoying oval track action with a 1/32 home track. Any info you can share about how you made those cars would be very much appreciated by this prodigal son that's thinking seriously on returning to slotting. Thanks! Andre Ming Oklahoma USA |

Matt builds his own chassis in some cases. A quick way to make one of these is to buy an Artin stocker without the body, add one Boss Bodies clear body, and
then an interior like the Champion.
