Hey Gents
I bought a old Palmer 1929 woodie model at a toy show, it was missing parts,got it for 5 bucks. Well it sat around for a couple of months, then I had an inspiration. The "box" is scratch built from stryene, back bumper is basswood, front bumper scratchbuilt from my parts box,driver is from a carrera street car, color is candy purple pearl, with hand painted silver trim,flame decals are from Radical Decals, wheels are BRS with ninco rubber, and the frame is from a vanquish,slightly shortened. Now I excepted it to want to roll easily due to its high center of gravity, but it actually handles very well, I have yet to race it , I am hoping , at least , that it will be a good match for the hot rods carrera has put out in the last year.
