Sorry to dig into some of the most basic stuff but, I'll mak ethe questions as specific as possible .....
a) Does Scaley still make their Pacer system? If not, when was that dropped?
b) I thought the Sport track power base had a reversing switch on it (per R. Scheichter's 2001 book anyways "Racing & Collecting..."), I just bought one as a separate and it does not? Is this some step backward - do I have to switch the base around to run the other direction? Controller wires going under the track...ugh!
c) What does the "Classic" track connections look like? Per the above reference, Sport track had 2 "female" shall we says tabs on an end. I just bought starights and curves (brand new- packaged) which has 1 female and 1 male tab per end....is this the classic track or something newer? Sport + or something? (of course , the above power base was of the 2 female type necessitating 2 converter pieces to mate with the rest!!) Of course, I also mistakenly purchased the hairpin at the same time...which only mates with the chicane pieces which I have to now get. Live and learn.
