I modelled this after a car that Jack "Speedy" Monahan raced at Checkerflag Speedway in 1965. I scratchbuilt the frame (first try at this) using
brass, brass tubing and music wire. Not pretty but it runs okay. For power I used a new Parma Super 16D motor with balanced arm and shunted brushes which
gives me ample power to the back wheels. The body and frame are from a Revell 1932 Ford 3 Window Kit, with custom made decals to represent the sponsor of the
day. I love trying to build old race cars from my past, brings back some good memories. Thanks for looking.
