I'm usually the last guy to jump on the Scaley bandwagon, but these two cars and their other vintage F1's (McLaren and Ferrari) are just incredible.
Collector quality, as good or better than anything Fly has ever done (or Slot. It, or anybody else, actually).
I'll tell ya...fellas......you're gonna want more cowbell!

![]() ![]() I wish Fly would take up the same course as Scalextric with Vintage GP's.
The Driver in the FLY F1's look to me to be more natural and life like. Maybe I'm just negative by not buying the Spirit Cars because of unrealistic looking Drivers except for the Sport Series?????

I think they will make single ones, just like they did with the other F1 Set, unless they come out with another set of the same cars but different liveries first. Hopefully Scalextric will make at least some of the other cars pictured on this thread, it would be great to have "a few" of these wingless wonders to drool over. I think the greatest part about this whole thing is that these sold out faster than Hanna Montana tickets, hopefully the manufacturers will take notice that when they make cars we want, they can't make enough of them. Now if only MRRC would realize this and give us the Cheetah already... |

I showed the set to two guys at the office. They couldn't believe they ran! And each fell in love with the cars and is now going to the slot car
track/dealer for the very first time.
If Scaley doesn't reissue these separately, and issue the cars in other liveries, and follow-up with more cars from this era, they're just completely nuts! I don't think any of their sets or individual cars have ever generated anywhere near the interest of these, or sold out so quickly. 7000 for the world (1200 for the USA) is a drop in the bucket compared to how many they could sell. |

Mine arrived the other day from Gene and as Teri Hatcher would say, "They're spectacular!"
Thanks to Gene for the great service as always. I hope that Scaley releases individual cars because I'm sure my pack-rat nature is going to prevent mine from ever seeing the track. Brian |

I have to add that either Gene took a picture of my set to post in this topic or mine is not the only set where Jim Clark's right arm is raised and he
isn't actually touching the steering wheel.
All of you that got this set, is Jim's right hand touching the steering wheel? Brian |
