I need input as to participants (PM please). RULES: CLASS I: Any year 2000 or newer sports car body (any material), stock Carrera GO!!!/SCX chassis, any magnet in stock location with no modification of the hole size, stock crown gear (pinions open) and any motor (inductors may be removed and chassis modified to fit the body). Tires inside the fenders. Carrera GO!!!/SCX wheels only, but interchangeable from any GO!!!/SCX car. Stock guide pin/guide only. Tires are open to compound. CLASS II: F1 Carrera GO!!! or SCX: Same chassis rules (except no mods to F1 Chassis) and all rules as above but only stock F1 Carrera GO!!! or F1 SCX wheels. Any tire compound. F1 bodies must be Carrera GO!!! or SCX. TRACK: 20 laps each lane of the 67' road course, at 16V, up to 5 Amps available. Longest straight is 14' so Carrera/SCX gearing is about perfect. Practice will be 10 laps per lane prior to race. Fastest Lap Times in each lane combined wins both classes. Sports Car Suggestions: F1 Cars: The Track: TECH INSPECTION: All cars will be teched to assure adherence to the rules. Prizes & Sponsors : Ranch Design & Philippe Marchand as well as several other, plus $10 (US) to the class winners from an anonymous corporation. Also, a huge amount of loot from SCX! Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	any motor for Class 1 and 2 - will make it interesting! stock go! or stock SCX magnet i guess? and only one piece year 2000 or newer? i will have to go through the project box to see if i can find something - i think i have already painted viper that could be fit on a F1 chassis. what about axles? only the stock ones or are Ranch-desing axles allowed ? stock guide pin (Go!) or stock flag guide (SCX) i guess again? nothing else i think i´ll do one for Class I and reenter the F1 from last year after some rework ... the puddle dude

F1's to Boxer's or 6V can FF-30's. Same with GT1 and LMP cars. HPR rules are GT2's must have a 14.8V GO!!! motor but this race we are allowing GT2's with any motor. F1 chassis, due to low weight, are ideal. Any magent as long as it fits the GO!!!/SCX opening without modification of the hole. Your Karli magnets are legal. The magent may be lowered but any car causing breaker to trip will be disqualified for prizes. Any axle as long as it doesn't protrude outside the body work in Class 1 and doesn't exceed stock F1 width and retains a GO!!! wheel. BTW: I received the errant package mailed 02-15-08 today. You really got the Centenaire and the magnets??? Do you like the body - tried the magnets already? i was going to send the package out again today, already packed it. Will a Renault Clio Trophy (old body type, not the latest) fit for Class 1? I also have a Hotlaps LMP body lying in the project bin - legal Class 1? (i think not, but its worth a try) Peter

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Actually, Peter, the Clio is a Touring car, so no, but I do show a Hotlaps LMP in the picture (Red & White). Those types will be legal as they were raced last in 2000-2001. Also, if anyone has one, a Hotlaps Daytona Prototye, it is legal. Everything in the box was fine and the magnets works great! The box was still sealed and in perfect condition. I think it sat somewhere for a long time. Thanks!!!!! Cjent "Speed Thrills"
