Before I departed the Dollar General store, this caught my eye. I have never seen anything
like it. It comes with a fold-out mat with "scenery" and a black marker. You draw a dark black
line around anyway you want and the car "sees" the line and follows it. It appears to have 2 infrared(?)
detectors, 2 photocells(?), and 2 LED's. On/off switch and dual sub-miniature 3v motors.
The front wheel drive is independent, one motor drives each half-shaft. The rear runs on a caster
like a shopping cart, I suspect it will turn an a dime and return change...haven't tried it.
I paid $2.10 for this machine. One of the sub-mini DC motors has to be worth more than I paid for
the whole she-bang
