I'm new to slot racing (since childhood) and need your help.
I recently purchased some used cars (Artin) to use for conversions. When testing them on my new SCX Compact track, I noticed that my controller was starting to get rather warm and was emitting a burning smell. Does anyone know what is going on here? I am not planning to use the Artin cars until I find out if running them will damage my SCX track... SCX didn't comment about possible damage, but they said the cars were an inferior product and "would not last on their track". The SCX cars are great and presented no such problems.
