I saw it happen on Speed and that man is LUCKY to be alive let alone climbing out of the car and walking around.

Jeese! That was incredible, one of the worst wrecks in my recent memory.
I was in the basement, and the TV was on Speed (Texas qualifying), and I heard my Mom let out a scream that made my blood run cold. She came by to see if she could lend a hand (the wife broke her ankle Wed,  ). And she saw the
crash as it happened, I thought Carolyn had fallen or something worse.
What a scare! Man when I saw that car, well you know what I figured, but out he pops and waves to the crowd.  Hoo! Something else!
 Hats off to Safety in Nascar  ......................Blueaxe

That's why I always watch qualifying if I can, you'll never know what you'll see...it was the same thing, I yelled "Holy Crap!", my wife
was upstairs on the other side of the house, and she thought the walls were collapsing! I didn't think that the COT could roll like that!

Yep. We were at our campsite across from turn 4 when this hit happened. We could hear it all the way over there, and had to jump on a buddy's laptop and
check it out. We all thought the worst when we first saw the hit, but he just pops out and waves to the crowd like it's no big deal. I actually got his
autograph Sunday morning and the Micheal Waltrip RAcing trailer.

A similar (sorta) wreck happended at Oulton Park on the 31st. Hunter Abbott walked away from his Ginetta G50, also. Check out the pics on this site. You
have to skip through it to get the whole affect, but we were watching via a link and it was scary!!!!!!!
