I have seen alot of tracks on this forum. It seem's like alot of people paint the track gray. Is there advantages or disadvantages? Do you recomend
painting the track? Can I paint my artin 1/43 track?

Many people think the grey is more realistic than the black. Painting the track also usually increase traction a bit. You can paint your Artin track easily.
The easiest and cheapest is with grey primer in a can. See for example http://www.homeracingworld.com/dixonhills.htm, scroll down to the track painting section

That help's alot. I have a question though, paint the track assembled, or piece by piece?

assembled is fine - put masking tape over the power rails - it'll look like this when done:
Used Tremclad Primer, and tremclad flat black to mix with the primer to get the darker (newer) patches of asphalt repairs painted in - and of course a trusty sharpie to get the black "expansion joint" edges they usually add to the patches.

Wow. Nice looking track Matt. Nothing too fancy where there is too much around the track itself. nice, clean look. I like it!
