I went to the movies this weekend and saw a preview for Speed Racer, live action movie. There has been posts about Dollar Tree stuff. There will probably more products coming out when the movie gets released (late spring I believe).

when I heard they were doing a live action speed racer, I wanted to be excited, I really did. Then I saw the teasers on Apple's site. I seriously doubt
i'll waste the money. They could have done so much better, really.

It really does looks disappointing. I will probably go anyway. I in one episode that I have on tape the Mach 5 was under water and Speed needed to start it
up. The sound effect for the car starting was a toilet flushing. Classic! The movie might have been better if it was done CG as opposed to live action. I
can only keep my fingers crossed that it is actually better than the trailers.

Actually most of the new movie IS CG! Pretty much only the actors and some of the sets are real. Any actual cars in the movie are for placement/ reference
only, most do not even run! Virtually everything else is CG! It looks awesome to me, my son and I are going to be at the first show at our local Imax!!! FOR
SURE!
