While compiling and organizing the names for the printed version of the Slot Car Hall of Fame, I have come to the realization that I cannot make it just for old timers of our hobby. So, I have seperated it into two sections.... The "First 20 Years" and "Since the 80's". I have had so many requests to add names of modern day pioneers who have made great contributions to our hobby since 1980 that I noticed the list was getting larger from those since the re-birth. I really think it is important for every important slot racer to be on this list. Especially since this book will be around long after you and I are gone. I'll let someone else do the "final chapter" for important slot racers from 2020 and beyond.... That is my planned year of retirement.... Hoping I'll make it there. I have a little blog that I started many years ago that is a place for me to put down my thoughts (assuming I have any) on the day to day operation of the magazine and it is also where I am keeping the working list for the HOF.
