Hi Guys,
We are trying to get something worked out for the 26th of April, keep checking back. Would you guys prefer to do something monthly or bi-monthly? Would you rather run the IROC style or have people furnish thier own cars. IROC keeps it a drivers race instead of a builders race. Was the time it took to run the races ok or did it take too long? Should we start earlier or later, what are your thoughts? We could use some input on any changes to make it better. At some point we are going to do a race with the pro scx cars where you buy your car on race day and have maybe an hour to get it ready. Then maybe try to run them every other race on the road coarse. I tried one that was totally box stock the other day and it was very driver friendly. With better tires and gear changes I think they would be awesome. Send us some ideas. What about another lighted enduro? I think the oval was made for the SCX Nascars so we may stick with them over there for a while. Crossover, are you back from Ala. yet, We were very sorry to hear about your father-in-law passing away. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We haven't heard from your gang from Nashville, how did they like it and are you guys planning on coming back for more. Sr |

You can count me in. If we were to use our own cars what would be the rules? Keeping it simple always works. Stock motor any tire or would the motor be opened
up to a limit say 30,000. I would love to run my own cars which are 98% stock at this time. Would it be open to other brands besides SCX. We could select a
spec tire like Da Vols has done for the Forums Cup. If it was kept stock I would think you could mix SCX and Scaley and have close racing. This is based on how
my Stock SCX and Scaley finished in last years Forums Cup competing against hotter motored cars. Bi-monthly would work. That leaves me a trip to Murfeesboro
once a month. I hope I can get some of them to make a road trip with me. 9 more months and I'm going full time slot racing.

Aarold,
Right now the reasons we like to run the handout cars are it makes tech simple and we are all new comers to this 1/32 scale stuff, and with the team concept on the road coarse it just makes it easier to set the teams with hand out cars. We are in the process of planning something for the 26th of April right now. Don't know exactly what yet. We are considerring lighted cars on the road coarse and the nascars on the oval again. What would your thoughts be on lowering the amount of time per lane on the road coarse and running individually instead of teams? We are thinking 5 or 6 minutes per lane. Then save the enduros with teams for every other month or so. |

Sounds good to me. When you speak of lighted cars oh never mind you going to hand out cars when we get there. Yes 5 or 6 mins per lane sounds good. I just
happen to be on vacation that week. Could come up Thursday run with the guys in Louisville and then at Bullit on Saturday. I think I need a sponsor.

I think if anyone is around from Bullitt Speedway I'd like to do an update on my website about this event. I'd like to know if it's open to the
public.

Hi,
All the races at Bullitt are open to the public. We are a 1/24 scale slotcar track that runs 1/32 scale cars on the 155 foot king and a 90 ft oval. If you want to see the tracks go to www.bullittspeedway.com. What we are planning on doing this time is lighted cars on the road coarse, with the building lights turned down. Then we will run the nascars on the oval. As you can tell from the last races it is very competitive. The track is closed today but you can call after 5 tommorrow at (502) 955-5509. Or you can call my cell phone at (502) 338-1483. Sr. |
