Finally got around to getting the pics of the new layout from the camera into the PC...
Took my track down to mount and then paint walls on my tables. Started putting some track back up just to putter around after I was done and this is what grew out of the paint fumes...
It'll probably change again when I start the next phase of the on going project, but it's a fun track to race on right now. Me and the boy are enjoying it.

The link has pics of the last layout and the current one as well as a bunch of my cars. The grand design is to have six levels of track mounted on the walls. I've got some ideas down on paper as to how the lanes will transition up and down, now I get to see how the ideas transfer to real track.
I'm figuring one lap from side to side on the walls is going to come in at roughly 16 feet or so. Needless to say I don't have that much track on hand, so I'll be gathering as time and dollars permit to add on. Ah but what fun would it be if you had everything you wanted right?
I also got a new Pyramid power supply... BIG difference... The adjustability is great for the different types of cars, and when company is over it keeps the kids from bouncing the cars off the walls too much.
Along with the new power supply comes real wiring. Thought I should make some drivers stations now too... I had some scrap Lexan laying around (left overs from a saw guard making project) so I made the driver stations out of it.
Hopefully I'll be posting updates soon...

have
dozens of them) to get my soldering skills up to par. Then I decided to risk a straight section... My skills still need some work, but so far so good. I
haven't drilled any holes in my table yet so I don't have the made up power taps in use yet.
