alright folks bear with me here not to familiar with the 1/32 cars so if this sounds funny thats cause I don't know what I'm talking about for sure. I
was in a hobby store yesterday that dealed mainly in all scales of trains BUT in one corner of the glass case I was looking were 5 1/32 scale slot cars they
were old school nascar cars. couple super bees and a couple other stock cars and a road course corvette had some drivers name on it car number I believe was
76. the name brand on the boxes was monogram and by the discoloration of the boxes I would venture to say there old. I have there number so if interested I can
give them a jingle and get more info on them.

HEY YOU MR Z28 |

The MONOGRAM are out of production BUT they made soooooo many that they are not worth anything. HEY but if you think they are jump on it! In fact some hobby
shops give them away with large purchases.

The price is not bad. The stockers don't sound like Monograms. Revell/Monogram just released their stockers a short time ago and they are Fords. The
stockers you are looking at may be Carrera.
The plastic Monogram "76" vette is not a reproduction. That's the way they came. That also means a recent car. Old early Monogram slot cars had no lettering from the factory, only decals you added. They were also metal chassis cars. These Monograms have become pricey... If what you are looking at is one of them.....Go for it! Check out E-bay or the vendors here to better I.D. what you are looking at. If they are metal chassis Mono's, I would buy them in a heart beat. Please let us know what you find out.
Anyone can restore a classic car, but it takes a real Hotrodder to cut one up and make it cool!

I suspect m1racer knew that those slot cars were not deal he wanted everyone to believe. If he did he would have purchased them himself.
M1 was just trying to give his LHS a shot, By selling some NOS for them. Dom |
