I want to thank all who showed up and put up with our little race. It was a flat out barn burner!!!!!!
We are so fortunate to have the friends we do. I will post more pics as soon as my head stops thumping

I'll double that. I really enjoyed meeting up close the folks I've talked to in the forum; and renewed the Old friends from the past couple of trips.
We left ST. Roberts at 7:10 AM and arrived back at our Home 20 in Grapeland at 5: 46 PM haven't caculated the miles yet BUT it's a fur piece from up there to down here. I can't can't say enough about the fellowship everyone was just fantastic; just like family. And as for our Host and Hostess; There aren't any finer people. I know what work went into putting on a "Wing Ding" like that; all the preporation and cooking; I can't begin to discuss the food Yes it was good. I second that too.
As allways, we had a wonderful time. 
We made it home around 5:30pm. The water has gone down some around here, but I've heard they are holding back water at one lake dam so the repairs to the river levies can be fixed. So there has been not much more flooding damage over the weekend, but the flooding is going to be around for a little while longer. 
You Can never have too many slot cars!!!

We wish we could have stayed longer.It was great to see everybody. My wife always wondered why i traveled so far just to run slotcar's.Now she understands. Thanks again, Kevin and Pat |

It was a great gathering as I knew it would be. I won't have to eat another meal for the rest of the week I can tell you that!!
Thanks SOOOO much to you both (Cindy and Harry) for welcoming all of us in to your home, feeding us non-stop, putting up with the inconvenience of 30 people walking through your home, parking in your yard, tearing up your slot cars etc and showing all of us a truly great time!! 1100 miles was never more worth it!! :thumbsup
