slotcarbug: Like Dickie said, the Elmers paint pens come as singles or in variety packs.. One pen will do many cars and they are easy to use. The don't fit into every little nook and cranny but they apply enough paint that you can use a small brush to push excess paint around to where you need it to cover. (and yes, all my street stocks are Artin Stocker chassis with the body mounted with velcro.. I've used 1/32 plastic model bodies, a Carrera stock car body, Reinecke resins bodies and now these Boss bodies. The Artin stocker chassis is so easy to work with and lends itself to velcro mounting thanks to a nice side rail. These cars are a blast.. my favorites to race)

lenzous: I raced at Seekonk (although I grew up at Thompson, Stafford, & Westboro Speedways in the 70's & 80's) Seekonks Street stock rules were way easier to conform to than Thompson/Stafford at that time.. you could basically run a 'stock' car with a cage.. you could even run factory sport wheels and a stock dash.. didn't take as much time or money to put together a competitive car. I had maybe $1200 into my first Regal and it finished in the top 5 every race it entered (including one race where I ended up rolling it in my qualifying heat.. changed a tire, started at the rear in the feature and finished 3rd that night ) I'll find a picture of one of the cars and scan it in.. Both Regals were white with teal graphics..#27 .

I just noticed.... did you say 900 laps?

75 laps per lane per heat.. 3 heats in total.
We usually have practice from 5pm - 6:45pm and then get the big race started at 7pm.

Even with a bunch of racers (12) we finish up by midnight..

More and more people are showing up for these races now..
we might have to make a lap adjustment at some point, but for now.. 900 laps it is~!
