We thought you all might like to see photos of a Ninco Cobra as modified by one of our customers. Not only does it look a whole world cooler than stock and
much more like a properly developed 427 Cobra race car, it's also a rocket on our test track, something we've never been able to say about a Ninco
Cobra before. We can't help thinking that this is how Ninco should have done the car to begin with. And they could have, too. All the mods, except for a
pair of silicone tires and a parts-box driver figure, were done, at low cost, with ordinary Fly and Scalextric replacement parts.
One thing we discovered in taking these photos -- black slot cars are a pain to photograph. Every speck of dust sticks out like a cabaret singer in a convent.
This car will be the subject of an upcoming article on our web site. We'll post the link when it's ready.
Enjoy the photos!
