I sold a few of my old postcards last year but I kept a few of them also. Here's one that I'll probably keep forever since my dad brought it to me from
the first time he went to the Daytona 500. It is a shot from the 1959 Daytona 500.
Anybody else collect stuff like this? Big Mike Smokey Yunick quote "Bill France Jr. was born stupid and he got dumber every day"

I've got a collection of 80+ USAC stock car programs from the Milwaukee Mile, almost a complete collection covering 1960 through the early eighties. I have three file cabinets full of early Hot Rod, Stock Car Racing and slot car magazines & catalogs along with other miscellaneous race programs from the late fifties to now. Hot Rod magazine I have covered from 1955 thru 1985. I have my Dad's 1966 Daytona 500 program, 1959 NHRA U.S. Nationals program from Detroit Dragway and some Road America programs. My fav's are the USAC stock car and early ASA programs. |

Thats a great card Mike. How that place has changed. I have a few post cards and programs but I have a ton of Maxx race cards from when they first came out. |
