I noticed out tracks are very similar in construction - except you went routed and bought your trees - did you use real sand and colored your own sawdust for your shoulders and turf? everything on our track is home made except the plastic track itself |

hey guys
thank you for the comments. 4x4 the base was newspaper elmers and pool filter sand(used and dirty) i didnt change its color i was happy with it. the turf however is new pool filter sand soaked in beleive or not koolaid. yes i said koolaid you can vary the color by how long you let it soak and there are so many wonderful flavors i mean colors to choose from. the darker green soaked about 3 days and dried for 2. i bought a bag 10lb cut a slit dumped in 4 packs of the green stuff and h2o sloshed it around and let it soak. some parts were darker than others which was more realistic. i bought some trees and made some from copper wire as well. mojo i will get more pics posted the ones in my image folder of its construction are outdated and alot of changes have been made. hows that rear valance on that bird coming? decide on a chassis? |
