Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	You would have to get a RS 232 connector from Radio Shack, there is a crimp version (276-1430) and a solder version (276-1548). The relay is solid state so you can connect it to a printer port without danger. Connecting the coil of a regular relay might cause the port to burn out. I believe that Greg Braun sells made up cables. If you want to run races on your track you might want to do lane rotations, which Laptimer 2000 does not support. The most commonly used race software is probably TrakMate, which can be bought with all of the necessary hardware to connect to a computer.

Posts: 19 (05/27/09 05:30 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I fought with the same issue for years with laptimer 2000 never got it done,,, I purchased trackmate a little over a year ago and it works flawlessly every time I use it, I used IR sensors without an issue, A friend uses dead strips on his wizzard and his maxxtrak and reed switches on his tomy. the reed switches will miss laps with cars with weak magnets, IR sensors will count any thing that pass under them.
