I just re-watched the movie Grand Prix last night. I love those 60s era pre-wing F1 cars so much. Is anybody doing anything in 1/43 with these? Any
suggestions? Thanks!

Isaac,
I cast the body in resin from a mold I made from a diecast car. Then I milled a chassis from delrin, and found a micro motor that runs on 6 volts. I will get back to production of this car soon if there is a demand for it.

Well, there would certainly be demand from me - how can I get some? I wasn't sure you could cram all the guts inside a 1/43 body - but
right there it is! Great job! Any chance of an underside shot?

EF, you get that perfected and you'd definitly have a market. Mostly in Europe, but a big market!

Thats a cooool built chassis EF!!
That would be a fun build and the 6V or 9V motors from Radio Shack would fit perfect in that tight chassis!! |

Hey, EF. Is that a super slicks motor in there?

If it is a super slicks motor, I've got a boat load of them.

Clandrend, and Mots,
The motors I used in the first car have been Radio Shack Zip Zap hop up motors. But Mots if you have a bunch of the Super Slicks motors I would like to try a couple of them. It may help to get this one off the bench faster. Drop me a pm as to how much you would want to part with say 10 of them motors, that is if you want to part with them.

Tom, the zipzap motor are half the size than a Go or SCX motor ...

ZipZap motors are aptly named for HPR. At 16V they go Zip.......................................... and then Zap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
