The Artin chassis didn't fit, long wheelbase was way to long and the short wheelbase was close but a bit short. So I used the shorter wheelbase and lengthened the chassis about 1/16th inch. Had to also trim the front of the Artin chassis to fit. Made a front post out of a section of plastic clothes hanger. Was able to fashion a rear chassis connection using sheet plastic and the existing body mount.
Covered the cut in the chassis with thin sheet plastic to give it a more finished look and repainted the chassis.
The finished Challenger. Wanted a wheel that would look close to the stock wheels shown on the Dodge website. Found a nice 6 spoke Ninco wheel at BRS so I
went with Ninco wheels, tires, and axles. (talk about fast shipping, ordered from Brian on Fri and recieved my parts on Monday!)
I love this new Challenger and look forward to seeing the 1:1 car 'prowling' the streets looking for new 'stangs and camaro's to devour.
