He's 8 and had posed a ? I wasn't sure about, so here it is: "why can't you run an HO car on a 1/32 scale track?" I thought it was a good question and figured one of you voltage gurus could get us an answer. In a light enough car, an HO motor is pretty darn fast at 12V (I use them in my 1/43rd SCX's). Da Vols - Bruce & Harriet & Kali

We put one of several HOs I had lying around and nothing happened. So I posted this thread. We tried another car and it haltingly worked. After some real persistance on Shane's part we have two that are now making laps. They are old Life-Like HOs. Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Simply solder some braids/brushes on the bottom of the pickup rails (not a lot mind you, and be sure to feather them with a dremel) - then it works...the cars tend to bounce around due to the width of the slot (narrower for HO). The tiny braids were easily adjustable to run on 1/32 track, in the opposite direction. The Slideguide is very inexpensive and a quick conversion. You could run either on a 1/24 commercial track so be sure and take them down to your local Blue King. Stop Global Whining
