Class 1 - Stock Artin clearance 0.02" - 0,5mm stock artin body may be lowered, wheel wells maybe cut to fit stock chassis, motor maybe glued in rims and tires maybe trued, wheels maybe glued to rims, front wheels maybe sealed wheels may protoberate 2mm if necessary stock braids, guide pin, motor, and magnet (no deegan rare earth magnets!) car must show at least 1 number light bars maybe removed or shorten, but the holes in the body have to be closed. car has to have a front window other parts of the body can be removed, like the usual front and rear cover from the downside of the body and the wing. the inside maybe shaved from not necessary overhangs from e.g. power passer fixations or side clips and such things race will be run at 10V Class2 - Open Class No magnets Car has to be app. 1/43: max. L/W/H - 120/50/45mm - 4,7/1,96/1,77" Motors were the motormagnets act as traction magnets are forbidden. max. wheel diameter: 17mm min. of 4 wheels, which touch the track surface race will be run at 8V, but you can tell me the voltage where you think your car runs best only one guide/guide pin 20 laps training, both lanes 25 laps race, both lanes, best 20 will be averaged. both lanes averaged will give the winner. entry fees: 5$ pro class, max. 2 cars per class entered track: app. 42ft (14m) Golden Hills Road course,artin track system, track borders for all turns track power by 2x 300W PC power supply, 10A@12V, with 12 position diode rotary switches to adjust the voltage - adjustable from from 4.3 to 17V all races will be run with 15 Ohm Parma economy controllers (you can choose if i should use stock artins, if you like) timing: IR sensors placed in the slots, software: laptimer2000 by Gregory Braun Prices for each class: 1st place: 2 vac-formed bodies of your choice 2nd place - is the first looser concours de elegance for both classes!

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 1/25/07. Entry fee is $5 USD for one or two cars Rules: Practice: Each car will be on the track for 10 practice laps prior to each heat on each lane. Races: Each car will run (1) 25 lap heat on each of two lanes. The best 20 lap times of each 25 lap heat will be averaged, then the average times of the two heats will be averaged, this average will be your race score. Lowest score wins. In the event of a tie the car with the fastest lap time will be the winner. If fastest lap times are the same the next two fastest lap times will determine the winner, and so on. If all lap times are identical I will choose a winner. Participants may enter up to two cars. This is a Limited Modified Event to be run at 10 volts with 3 Amps current available. 1- Any approximately 1/43rd body (Modified as desired). However this is a Modified Mayhem, and there will be a concours of which I will be the sole judge, and I like modifieds similar to these. (My cars are not eligible) Mustang Modified Coupe Modified 2- Any chassis 3- Any motor, any number of motors However I will be running this race at 10 volts and my power supplys current rating is 3 Amps. I your motor is tripping my power supply excessively your car will be disqualified. I have no problem running the following motors: Artin, Greenies from SCW, Goldmine G9330, and the Radio Shack XMODS motors. 4- Any wheels 5- Any tires 6- Minimum total car weight 1.25 Oz. 7- Magnet must be stock Artin One full size magnet )16x18x2 mm) or two of the half magnets (16x12x2 mm) are allowed, placed where you feel is best for your car. It is ok for a bit of the chassis is exposed near the front axle. 11- Cars must have at least 3 numbers, one on each of the side doors of the cars, location of the third is optional. 12- All tires must touch the track. 13- Chassis clearance No part of the car shall touch the track or rails except the braids and tires. 14- Maximum Rear and front Width (measured from outside of tires or outside of body whichever is larger): 50.8 mm (2.00 inches). 15- No braid juice or other conductive grease or liquid may be used on the braids. 16- Any gears 17- Any braids 18- Any guide (ONLY ONE GUIDE ALLOWED) (My track is Artin and the slot is not as deep as Carrera Go!!!. Also unmodified Carrer Go!!! guide pins will wedge in my slot if the car drifts in the turns.) Penalization for rule violations: Disqualification (disqualified cars will be run and scored, but will not be counted in the final results.) My track ir 54 ft long with 3 approximately 11 ft straights. Two of the straights go into R1 curves and 1 goes into an R2. There is an R2 1/2 circle in the infield and a couple chicane type turns. The entries will be sent from event to event and not returned to individual owners until the season finale is complete (EXCEPTION: If an owner wishes to withdraw from the series, they may request their entries be returned. Once withdrawn, the owner forfeits all points. The owner may re-enter the series at the next available event, but with zero points.) Entries given a DNF will be returned to their owners after that event and points will be awarded accordingly. (see DNF rules under "The Race") Owners whose entry is given a DNF may submit a replacement car at the next event without a points penalty. THE CARS ACCEPTABLE BODIES ARE: ANY PLASTIC OR RESIN BODY THAT RESEMBLES AN EXISTING RACE OR STREET CAR. Examples include: Any 1/43 Artin or Carrera GO!! body Any Fastlane Super Slicks body Any of the Ford Coupe bodies Any Windracer body Any Legends of Racing Body Any of the flashilight bodies Any vac formed body that resembles an existing vehicle, race only or street legal. Sunoco Monte Carlo bodies No other body may be used. No creations from non-standard building materials. No cigarette bodies (damnit). Bodies may be customized in any way that is congruent with the existing rules. Bodies must cover the rear tires and cover the chassis from the front tires back. Combined body/chassis width shall not exceed 2 including any items added to the outside of the body or chassis. Each body must carry its car number on each side where the door would normally be located. Roof numbers are optional. CHASSIS: Any Artin chassis in original wheelbase or with extender. Extenders can include either a Judge-type extender for the front of the Artin chassis or a regapped Artin chassis. MAGNETS: Magnets are open. No magnet required. WHEELS/TIRES: All vehicles must have four tires/wheels. No more and no less. Any. Rear tires and wheels must be covered by the body assembly when looking at the car straight down from the top. No variance allowed. All tires can be trued. All tires can be glued onto rims. Front tires can be coated. Rear tires cannot be coated. Rubber or silicone ok. MOTORS: Stock Artin motor, pinion gear, and crown gear in their stock locations. GUIDES: Stock Artin pin or any conceivable guide pin or flag. RIDE HEIGHT: Chassis can be any height off the track. Body height Body must be taller than the motor, although the body does not have to cover the motor when looking down at the body from the top. Other than the four tires, no part of the vehicle assembly may touch the track. THE SCHEDULE All entries will arrive at the first track no later than 48 hours prior to the race day. Acceptance of late entries is at the discretion of the track operator. Once an event is complete, the track operator must ship the entries to the operator at the next event in a timely manner. Most races have at least three-four weeks in between, so this will hopefully not be an issue. Postage should be by 1st Class Mail or Priority Mail as these are tracked by the Post Office. Media mail is not tracked and ends up in a black hole, so please do not use it (bad ebay experience). Entries going to or coming from Canada will require extra time so please take that into consideration. Any track operator who keeps the entries and the fee money will be hunted down and die a slow death. THE FEES The entry fee for each race is $3 per car per race and must be sent to the track operator before the event begins. Entries without an entry fee will not be scored. Further, any entry that does not have a paid entry fee will not be sent to the next event and will only be returned when the owner sends the track operator money for postage. The entry fee will be used to cover shipping costs from event to event. This is provided that all cars can be shipped together in one box from event to event, cutting down the costs of postage. The customs cost of sending the entries to Canada and back to the United States will be considered part of the postage cost and paid for out of the entry fees, not by the track operators. If after postage, there are remaining funds from the entry fees, those funds should be sent to the next track operator to help with future postage costs. At the end of the season, after all postage, duty fees, etc. have been paid and any track operator reimbursed for applicable postage expense, the remaining funds shall be donated to the Home Racing World board. THE RACE: (Mike's Modified Mayhem Rules) Practice: Each car will be on the track for 10 practice laps prior to each heat on each lane. Races: Each car will run (1) 25 lap heat on each of two lanes. The best 20 lap times of each 25 lap heat will be averaged, then the average times of the two heats will be averaged, this average will be your race score. Lowest score wins. In the event of a tie the car with the fastest lap time will be the winner. If fastest lap times are the same the next two fastest lap times will determine the winner, and so on. If all lap times are identical, a winner will be chosen by the track owner at random. Finish: The finishing positions will be determined by your race score as indicated above. The lowest race score will be first, next lowest score will be second, and so on. Pit Kits - Each owner will send a "pit kit" for their entries. Pit Kits should consist of extra stock motors, guide pins/flags, wheels/tires, anything that is easily changeable by the track operator should moderate damage occur to the entry. DNF: Any entry that is damaged and cannot continue will be given a DNF and awarded last place finish points. The track operator will determine whether the entry is able to continue the race if repaired using the entry's Pit Kit or if a DNF will be given. In the event more than one entry is damaged and given a DNF, the entry with the fewest laps completed will be awarded last place finish points. The entry with the next fewest laps completed will be awarded next to last place finish points and so on. DNF entries will be returned to their owners at the completion of the race. Use of the pit kit does not carry any penalty. THE POINTS Points will be awarded based on finishing position in each race as follows: FINISH POSITION POINTS First............................100 Second.........................98 Third............................96 Fourth..........................94 Fifth.............................92 Sixth.............................91 Seventh........................90 Eighth...........................89 Ninth and lower...............88 Bonus Points - The entry with the lowest overall single lap of all entries on either track will receive one (1) bonus point. Chassis must clear track, no belly scrapers. Motor: Open, one motor only, hosting tracks have a limited supply of current so once again, common sense applies. Hosts have the right to DQ entries that blow fuses, trip breakers, or cause brown-outs. Gearing: Open, any pinion/crown/spur gear combo, any configuration (i.e. right angle drive, side-winder, angle winder etc.). Belts and pulleys are legal as well. Rear wheel drive only. Guide/Pick-Up: Both guide pin or guide flags are legal. Wheels/Tires: Open - See Ranch Designs for cool aluminum wheels and tires (shameless plug). No tire goop or spooge allowed. Magnet: Illegal - this is a "no magnet" race. Weight: Open - Added weight is legal. Stance: Tires must not protrude from outside the fender walls of the body as you look down onto the entry. Paint/Livery: Open, any color(s), any livery, real or ficticious. Each entry must at least have a number on each door panel, you may add more numbers if you like. Hosts/Venues: This proxy will consist of a series of 3 races held at each of the following venues: PMarchland's Thenon Speedway - Located on the balmy west coast. A tastey twisty road course treat with a dash of those "California Girls" (Artin road course) Pfutze's Golden Hills road course - "Land der Berge, Land am Strome"...Located in the majestic hills of Austria, don't let the beautiful setting fool you, this is one of the most demanding road courses in all of Europe! Prost! (Artin road course) CJent's Harbour Pointe Raceway - Located in the heart of the Southland (Surf's Up!). Fantastic 1 mile oval racing at it's best! Bring extra paint, yer gonna need it! (Carrera GO!! Rules: CLASS I: Any year 2000 or newer sports car body (any material), stock Carrera GO!!!/SCX chassis, any magnet in stock location without modifiying the hole size, stock crown gear but pinion is open and any motor (inductors may be removed and chassis modified to fit the body). Tires inside the fenders. Carrera GO!!!/SCX wheels only, but interchangeable from any GO!!!/SCX car. Stock guide pin/guide only. Tires are open to compound. CLASS II: F1 Carrera GO!!! or SCX: Same chassis rules (except no mods to F1 Chassis) and all rules as above but only stock F1 Carrera GO!!! or F1 SCX wheels. Any tire compound. F1 bodies must be Carrera GO!!! or SCX. TRACK: 20 laps each lane of the 67' road course, at 16V, up to 5 Amps available. Longest straight is 14' so Carrera/SCX gearing is about perfect. Practice will be 10 laps per lane prior to race. Fastest Lap times COMBINED wins each class. Sports Car Suggestions: F1 Cars: The Track: TECH INSPECTION: All cars will be teched to assure adherence to the rules. PRIZES & SPONSORS: Ranch Design and Philippe Marchand and several others are providing cars and parts. Also, $10(US) to each class winner from an anonymous corporation.
