Let me first preface this by saying that my quad oval layout is probably the hardest track that these cars will be run on - so how these cars finish here
probably won't reflect how they will run on more "normal" ovals.
Also, normally cars that lap in the 2.8's are what I consider quite fast for this track - so the lap times of all the Forums Cup cars are all in the range of quite fast to exceedingly quite fast.
#1 - elvinator: Good speed, brakes, and handling, but can't exceed it's limit as it prefers to tilt rather than drift so I've been driving just under its potential.
#1 - Bopalou: Same as the above - a little more drift and it'll go faster.
#5 - Gary: Fast and smooth, but just a tad loose in the turns.
#07 - Bubba: This motor has no brakes at all - was able to get good lap times on the outside lane by using the walls, but on the inside I had to let off halfway down the straights to make the tight turns.
#7A - Thunderbolt: This car just doesn't like my track...speed and brakes are fine, but prefers to tip over rather than slide at all in the turns.
#7 - Thunderbolt: Like the two #1 cars, good speed, braking, and handling, but will deslot if pushed.
#8 - Da Vols: Well, I've had months to prepare this car for this track so...
#9 - eaddict: Entered as an "experimental" - has a 16D armature in a SCX case - just way too much speed/acceleration for such a short track to drive properly.
#13 - eaddict: Has good speed and brakes, just on the loose side.
#17 - fmjcafe: Just needs a bit more braking...should do much better at other tracks as it is fast and handles nicely.
#20 - 34ever1: Just a tad loose, but an excellent car.
#21 - Mr56P: Same as above...very good runner.
#23 - drvanski: A very well prepared "stock" stock car...great handling and braking, just the stock Scalextric motor keeps it from lapping faster.
#24 - T-Man: The motor is a little on the slow side, good braking and takes the turns nicely, but prefers to tip rather than slide.
#26 - WPSoko1 - The best mannered car as to speed, acceleration, braking, and handling - just was a little loose in the outside lane.
#28 - Da Vols: My hedge entry for tracks where the K&D's might not find traction...an easy car to drive, just not fast.
#40 - rscars3: Smooth car to drive, but just down on power.
#41 - Mongo the Monster: One darn fast car...just a little loose on the inside.
#41 - arroldn - Just a little slow on acceleration, should do much better on other tracks.
#43 - arroldn - Only minus was being a tad loose, otherwise an excellent car to drive.
#88 - arroldn - A good solid running car, just needs a bit more speed.
#88 - Bopalou - If this car drifts rather than tips on the other tracks it'll be a serious contender.
