After struggling to figure out the programming, I found one car to be a "turd" and another stopped working all together after a racing impact. Now my power base went up in smoke. I'll bet I don't have 2 hours of running on the system. Cars stopped, then started again but slow....then I smelled that horrible electrical smell and sure enough smoke was coming from the right side of the power base near wher the controllers plug in. Do you think Artin will send replacement parts...or should I just return the whole track to WalMart? "Slots & Stocks"

There have been reports here of that being the case with someone else. There is a tele number in the paperwork included with your set. Save your purchase receipt. They will ask for it. Mike A

I was racing with my son and two ghost cars when the power base defaulted. All cars stoped and the pit stop lights went into sequence although there were not any cars in the pit. After I reset the power base all the cars ran from the #1 controller only-don't know why? I shut off the power for a few minutes ; then I reprogramed the cars. All of them are ok as of today. ( I don't run ghost cars anymore and I don't run my cars more than 1 hour at a time as is advised on the last page of the booklet that came with the set.) Posts: 53 (01/29/08 11:55 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I wish it was that simple, programming is the step that fails I hit the pass button, the corresponding light on the base blinks like it should, but when I hit the base button the cars lights don't flash and it never recognizes it. I've tried changing game modes, unplugging it 5 minutes, unplugging it overnight, took it apart and checked for burnt parts or dust, couldn't see fault, reassembled to no change, after tech support told me the parts would be out asap I resorted to but that didn't help either

That was Wednesday and I haven't heard anything since (it's now Sunday). I'm starting to think I shouls just pack it up and bring it back to Wal-Mart....what would you do? "Slots & Stocks"

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Sorry about the trouble your having.I also had some trouble with a car in the 1st set I received,called Artin and they got back to me and wound up sending me a replacement....It took awhile,but they did stand by their product.Maybe they will contact you at the 1st of the week,if not,you can always take it back to walley world.That's the good side of this deal,they will take it back,just be sure to have your receipt. I have been running alot on my 4 lane artin with lane lengths over 90 ft each and been happy with it (thanx again show33) but I am debating on selling the whole thing and just switching over to Ninco digital because I see all the problems most of you seem to be having with digital artin
