To tell you the truth as far as running good, they run worse than if I had magnets in them, but better than when I had no drop or weight in them. Does that make sense? One of the problems is Im just starting so I have no idea how much weight to put in the car compared to what other people use?? So what I did was use pennies. I hotglued the pennies together than hotglued the pennies to the car chassis.........first time doing it, I dont know if its right or wrong but this is what I came up with.

I guess the run good I can slide it out on the curves at about half throttle any higher and the car is off the track. The speed I have to drive at now are scale to the track compared to the crazy speed you can do with magnets.

Most excellent work! I can see I've got some cutting to do this weekend. What were the cut dimensions you used for the front and rear as that seems to be the perfect look.

Like I said this is the first time doing this so I did it the only way I could think of. dont mind the mess Im to lazy to clean up.

For the Camaro

1.Cut and seperated the lower bumber from the chassis


2.Cut off the 2 tabs that connected the upper front bumper grill through the screwholes (this creates the play that will lower the front when screwed down)

3. Glue all the components of the bumper to the upper body



4. trim the front of the chassis so it will slide relatively easy behind the bumber so it can be screwed together again


5. trim off the bottom of the interior cockpit.


6. trimm off the 2 screwhole tabs on the body in the rear to make them shorter and also the 2 stalks from the interior that lay up above the rear bushings when the car is assembled.

7. trim off the rear edge of the chassis so it will slide below the body and past the rear taillight assembly.


The chassis will now slide into the body and now you can screw it together


I did all this by eye and didnt measure........best thing to do is take off little by little instead of taking off more and ruining it

DO NOT TRY THIS WITH THE MUSTANG I HAD TO DO IT A DIFFERENT WAY, I WILL POST IT IF PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED.
