I like the paint and laid rubber effect, my track is still boring black.
How do the digi-pro cars like the R4 corners with borders? Can you go full speed though the R4 end or not? If/when you do lose it in the R4 end does the car deslot because of the speed or drift because of the light corner angle? Are the borders close enough to save a car without a stockcar body Everything 1/32 I have came in a digi-pro box and I'm just curious how the other pieces available work. |

The R4's are really cool with the digi pro cars. It all depend on the make of the car. The Porsche and DTM's, you really have to play with the throttle, sort of let of entering and punch it about halfway through. The CLK's can usually go full throttle through the outside lane, but need a little play on the inside. The wall is too far out to save the car, but losing the backend is about as realistic as it comes in slot racing. To have the backend just suddenly step out, is one of the coolest things in the world. I'm hoping to get another set of R4's so I can go back and forth from roval to superspeedway. |

An all R4 superspeedway with borders is sounding pretty good to me about now.
I should sell off some of my dust collecting HO cars and parts and get a superspeedway stocker set. I'd like to try the taller tire/rim from the stockers anyway and see if it frees up the back for less abrubt and more recoverable sliding. The stocker also has an extra tooth on the pinion gear for more top speed, something that could really help the ghost car, but would probably be to much for the power pack to handle with 6 cars. |

Great looking set up
Are you going to make this More permanent? My reason for asking is that, I've heard that sometimes having a slotcar set on any type of carpet can cause a static discharge. And short out the transformer Mike |

I'll put something permenant together in a couple of years when I have a bigger house. For right now, I have to store everything under the bed (drives the wife crazy!). I haven't had any problems with the transformer. |
