Thanks, cjent!
I had to remove the Order Form as it wasn't working AGAIN! I'll have one in a day or so that is really simple (I need that!). |

Wow, so all you need is cool plastic injection molded bodies (licensed of course) and a tampo machine and you're going to be the #1 full 1/43 slot car producer in the world!!!
Ok wait, you'd still need to make Ranch design guides/flags, since they're really hard to do, it'll likely never happen

sounds like a challange?! I wouldnt put it past lib to do exactly that. Dont tell him he cant do something cause he would just do it to prove you wrong.

Thanks for the good words, all. This scale needed another "shot in the arm" and I hope this is a hypo!
If I measured and remember correctly the wheelbase can range from 2.230" to 3.120" without using the rear holes for the front axle. With a little modification the chassis by the customer, it could be made even shorter. My truck in the upcoming proxy is using one of these chassis and it and M1's truck are on the way to Peter. |

Re: damn nice!!! | ||

Might be nice to add up the cost of this chassis, 2 axles, 4 wheels, and the gear (not the pinion gear, since you get one of those with the GM anyway) and sell it as a single package.... just add motor and body, stir well and you're racing.Would make it easy to order that way too whcih is always a good thing

Adjustable Chassis Kit: $10.00 EA
Kit includes front and rear chassis halves, two 1-3/4 axles, two rear axle bushings, a guide flag plate, guide flag, four axle shims, and eight chassis screws. This chassis is made to accept the GM 9330 and 14955 motors. Then add $6 for wheels, I believe, and that's fine. But some of us will use other wheels for a specific purpose. My $10 worth. Cjent

I do have a limited supply of 1/43 Artin crowns available - listed on my website. I couldn't find enough of them to include in the kit but I wanted to make available what I have.
I'm still searching for crown gears but haven't found a solid supply. Once the dust settles, I'll be listing the individual pieces of the kit for service items. |

I dont know about the rest of you folks but I have plenty of chassis laying around that I can pull a ring gear out of. If not I could go to
DG and pick up a whole track set for $10 and have 2 cars and some more track to boot thats a win win situation. Awsome job lib keep the good things rolling. PS: AMERICAN FLAG ISN'T IN HERE! WHY NOT?
GOTTA SLOW DOWN TO GO FAST!

I posted my kudos and useless comments last night but the switch over to kookoo lost my post. I'd reiterate but I'm deteriorating so fast up stairs
that I don't remember what I said!
The chassis kits are fantastic Lib! I'll be ordering two in shortly, crown or no crown the price for what you end up getting is almost too good to be true, to have chassis with a guide flag ready to go is a great addition to the scale and to the "conversion challenged"... Ranch Design is poised for total world domination! (now where is that beer mug emoticon) ![]() |

I'd like one please! And the wheels and tires to go with it. Got some 9330's laying around, so that's my motor and pinion, and I can lay out an
Artin crown gear of my own if that's a problem. One question, though. How exactly do I pay you? I may or may not have a Paypal account(don't ask...),
do you take Visa.....?

Sorry for the double post, but I haven't figured out how to edit posts on yuku yet. Anyway, I was going to say that Lib's chassis kit will be built
with a Lib or Jon vac-form Lambo Murcielago. That is if my homebuilt vac-former doesn't fall through...
