I started with two Artin stocker bodies. I cut the front off both bodies and grafted one to the other to lengthen the body just like they did back then. Then I marked the body and cut the bottom off at an angle to lower the front. I ground off the rear spoiler and smoothed the roof and filled the roof flaps. Built the flairs and rear spoiler out of .020 styrene and molded them in and filled in the grill.

Then I primed it and painted it. While waiting for the paint to dry I made up some decals of one of my all time favorite Late Model Sportsman cars. When the paint was dry I applied the decals and put on two coats of Future. The body is mounted on a SCX stocker chassis that has been stretched to fit the body. Track test will come tomorrow.

I took a couple more pics today to show just how low this thing is. It is sitting next to a stock Artin stocker in both pics.
