The ones that come mounted on the new car run really good on my home wood track. Smooth, quiet & good grip. I might give kelMac's Tru Grips a try too. They've run great on every car that I've tried them on.

Yup, the tires under the car are S-2 Silicones. Kelly's Tru Grips are Urethanes. You can find him on this board. He posts as Kelmac. search for his post name and send him an e-mail. Kevin's K&D Tires are pretty much the same thing. Originally Kelly was making 1/32 and Kevin was doing 1/24, but I think the lines have crossed. I got some of Kelly's original tires for Slot.it wheels and they work great. It would depend on who of them has your size in stock, as to who I bought from. Personally, I like the Urethanes better than Silicones. You don't have to keep the track so scrupulously clean as you do with Sillies.
