        <![CDATA[ I collect scrap and haul it away for people as a part-time summer job.  It is feast or famine but gets me some fun money.  Today, I got a flat panel monitor in
the junk. The guy threw away the power supply and couldn&#39;t get it to work.  It is small but it now does the timing for my track.  I had a walwart that was
perfect for it.

			<description><![CDATA[ People have been taking everything they can find to the scrap yard. I lost the metal front railings to my house. We were redoing the front porch and had them
piled in the back yard. Next day they were gone along with some scrap iron work. Cost me over $800.00 to have it replaced.

two big suckers away a year ago. Is everything now valuable? I am going to search the trash every week. I just got a 12&#39; foot 2x12 from a dumpster. I may
try to buid a garage - no wait, a slot car garage.

			<description><![CDATA[ That makes much more sense, I was thinking .035 per pound total and thinking &quot;that&#39;s not even $100 a ton&quot;. We don&#39;t have a separate price for
clean scrap here. Cars bring an extra $10 a ton or so because the junkyard can usually pull off a couple easy things and get it back. If you do scrap cars make
sure to grab the catalytic converter, radiator, alternator, battery, starter and as much wire as you can, it really changes the results, especially if it&#39;s
a GM with a $80... ]]></description>

my neighbor where an old neighbor dumped everything. Remember there is a difference between clean and unclean. Here it is $.035 a pound BUT when you are
talking 500 pounds that work out to $17.50 a truck load. Find the distinctions your scrapyard makes and follow them. I know most won&#39;t tear the back seat

a SlotIt Porsche tomorrow for $0.00 out of the family budget. If you have a clunker you drive to work, remove the rear seat and you have your scrap collecting
