At present I am the Very Proud owner of TWO Original REVALL GT Race Sets. One I bought New in 63 or 4. The other I bought at St. Louis Show in fall of
"07. want to turn these into one 5' X 9' (That's all the space I have right now) Similar to the LEAD PIC. O nly mine is only 2
lane. As Mfg'd they are Figure 8's only. So what I need is 4 21" Cureves in lieu of 14" so I can make 90 deg. curves. with straights in
between. And maybe straight cross overs...

Rick - I swear by Rustoleum Texture spray paint - gives great traction for near all tires. It comes in a multi-color called Rustic Umber (
http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=31 ) that's close to "dirt".

Though we all like to have bigger, the nice thing about a small oval is that stock motors (18K) have more than enough speed so no need to spend $$$'s for
hi-performance motors.

Hi Rick:

Sounds like a good plan!

Also sounds like what I'm going to do, only I'm going to try digital. The Revell track is neat stuff. I used it for oval racing back in the early 90s
when I was heavily into home slot racing. Hopefully you have the outside aprons also? Really adds to the fun. As I recall, you will need six Revell 21"
curves to make a 180. Therefore, you'll need twelve 21" curves to form an oval with them.

Good racing and...
