Hi Bob,

I'm pretty sure they fit. It's just an 1/8" machine screw thread - hope you got the ones with male thread on the tip.
I haven't received the ones I ordered yet, so I can't guaranty anything, but the tips are copper, so would be easy to cut new threads on if need be.

I have an Ungar Ironclad 47 watt tip that I have used since the late sixties. I have built well over a hundred chassis with this one tip and it still works as
well as it did new.
Todays replacement for that tip is the number 33 Ungar/Weller Tip, I have one of these that I have now used for over three years and it works as well as the
original tip on my other Iron.

Hi Bob,

Ceramic, it is. And hasn't given me any trouble in about 20 years.
The tips I ordered were PL331 & PL333. I love the chisle shape for general soldering. The cone tip is probably going to get ground down to a finer taper on
the belt sander.

Hey Bob,
Da Nada. That's what we're here for. Actually I should be thanking you. I've had this link for a while but never ordered. Your post shook my tree
& I fell out & ordered a couple of tips. A 1/8" chisel, which has been my old stand by for everything from electronics to brass chassis building
for 40 years, and a little finer cone that I will probably grind down even a little finer. I got the clad ones, but even with those, you have to keep them
tinned. I...

You used to be able to get them from Radio schack when they re-branded that iron. One of the stores might have some old stock.

I'm pretty sure that you can get them from Weller now, but mail order only.

I have a link around here somewhere that I'll post as soon as I dig it up.
