Future (Klear) is a gift from the Gods. I have a problem understanding why some people can't get along with it. It contains acrylic polymers and is perfect
for sealing a new paint job decals and all. Apply a coat thinly straight on top of the dried finished paint and before applying the decals this will seal the
surface and make the decals easier to slide into place. All categories of modellers use this product and swear by it. It's cheap, easy to apply, flexible,
hard wearing and...

My money is on Testors Clear #1261 for durability. If the car is not go9ing to be raced, Future is great.

I used an airbrush on my one scratch build and it came out nice! I put 1 coat on before the decals, Then 4-5 very thin coats allowing 3-4 hours dry time in
between. This was a couple years ago and it still looks just like this. It hasnt got much track time though, the track has been down but it will be back up
soon.

You can put decals on a car that already has Future on it and cover everything with more Future. Unless the car will be a shelf queen the decals will be easily
damaged when they are just covered with Future in my experience. I have done some lab work with Future, it is only 25% polymer, the rest just evaporates. To
build up a thick coating would take four to six coats.
