        <![CDATA[ I am planning to make my first routed track and looking for advice. Ive claimed a bit of space in the garage, approximately the size of 2 4x6ft tables set in
an L (10ft one outer edge, 6ft the other), that Im currently using for a plastic track. I also have a second space down in the barn (table size 16x6) with
plastic track setup that Id use for a second wood track if I enjoy the first.

			<description><![CDATA[ It runs pretty well in both directions-best in the middle lane. I usually drive clockwise. On one turn, the outside lane can bump scenary and the inside lane
is a bit sharp, but it can be managed with some driving. As long as I keep the tape clean, power is good all the way around. Traction is fine, but varies
immensly by car. One of my flys slides like its on oiled glass, but most others have a bit of stick.

			<description><![CDATA[ Yes.  All three lanes are taped and running.  I don't have lap timing or power control setup yet, but the track works in both directions.<br><br><br>I tried to pick a couple images that gave an overall picture.<br><br>The driver's stations are along the right of the picture.  It's not a very good place with three people since views will be blocked, but its where I prefer to stand when running alone.  Maybe I'll slave a couple more stations when I figure out where they should be.<br><!--EZCODE... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ At a couple hours a week, it can take a long time to build a wooden track, but cars are finaly running.  I did a temporary hookup of power pending construction of the drivers stations and ran a number of cars several laps.  I was surprised how sticky the cars actually were going around corners.  I've seen comments before on how slippery a wood track could be, but it was not bad at all. 			<description><![CDATA[ ^^^^Thats true, I been there lol.<br><br>The rule for routing is:<br><br>Cutting one direction, the router pushes against the guide, the other , it  tries to push away from it.<br>Hard to explain but ..... /o.... if the line is the guide and the o the router, cutting upwards(left to right) the rotation of the cutter will keep the router pressing against the guide.<br><br>Sorry, like I said hard to explain but it makes life a lot easier if you set up with this in mind. ]]></description>
