Another RMS Cheetah done

Here is #2 outta four I've managed to finish so far. Started it yesterday afternoon and got her done and running at midnight tonight!!! I needed it so George (GFG 3) and I had a couple to run this Sat!!!! It's sitting on SCC super wheels with rubber from the junk box. The running gear is; Artin motor/ 9T pinion, SCX 27T crown , drill blanks with brass bushings, and an unknown guide from said box. Paint is Krylon Fusion Safety Yellow and decals are from the growing stash I have now....

Replacement glass parts

I have a few vintage cars that need headlight lenses and windscreens. I am thinking about attempting to make the parts myself. Do you experienced rebuilders have any recommendations on how to get started? I'm unsure about what plastic to use and the best way to shape it without a lot of trial and error.

Chaparral needs wheels or inserts

Here is a 1/24 Chaparral that I got running last night. The body is Strombecker, the chassis is an inline repro from EJ's. I would like to get proper wheels or wheel inserts for it. I searched around for inserts and haven't found any yet. Any recommendations?

American line car kit

Hi,
I founded a American Line car kit, aml 5050k : "T" roadster 1927.
I don't know at all this kind of car kit.
I have to build the front axle, no ? The chassis doesn't have any holes ou place for that.
And what about the very very small springs ? What for is it ? I think, it's for the front wheels... but it really works ?

Someone has build a American line car kit yet ?

I purchased a Green Hornet Black Beauty from e-bay and received it today. The sticker appears to be fake or it has been so long since I owned one I may be mistaken. Does anyone one have one I can compare notes with? (see pic below)

Speed Control device for Dremel?

I bought this gizmo years ago from Micro-Mark that is supposed to step down the speed of my dremel, but I could never get it to work as intended. It's a model RSC-15 (P37359) and has a toggle switch with 3 postions Var (variable), off and Full. When I plug the dremel in it only works in the Full position. It has a fuse in the top of it which I have already checked (but not replaced). Anyone else have any luck with one of these or a similar experience?

I really wanted to come as close as possible to creating something that looked like the Cox car that I could never justify buying on ebay. It came it out pretty close to what I wanted with the help of the Hasegawa windscreen that a fellow slothead contributed to this project. The chassis is a mint NOS Dino chassis that is the cleanest I've ever seen.

'Modern Eldon'

I've been collecting the old Eldon slot cars and now have about 50. I thought it would be cool to create a 'modern' day Eldon slot car. I used the Revell 1/32 scale Shelby Mustang GT 500 kit body and adapted it to the Eldon wide chassis. Paint is Modelmaster Grabber Orange. The white stripes and decals I created by scanning the vinyl sheet that comes with the kit and printing with my Alps printer.

The cheap one for sheet metal to make holes for chassis work, seems like it would be the way to go but was looking for opinions.
