After choir practice, I dropped into the local FD. The $5 set are in stock after a two year hiatus. Track is classic, bodies are the Ferraris, chassis make good raw material.

At this price, I'm gonna stock...

Stemming from R5's discussion on braids our friend Broman shared a tip on a effective way of cleaning them.
I never found a good use for the little wire wheel type tool that came with my dremel until now.
I say wire wheel type because I am not sure it is actually wire, seems to soft to be wire, but whatever it is the results
and time spend (about 20 seconds a car) is fantastic. Give it a try!

Class 1: STREET STOCK

Any 1/43 chassis.Stock motor, tires, wheels, magnet. Magnet to be in stock location. Any 1/43 body of any material. no chassis mods! If you are using a carrera chassis, you will have to shave the guide pin down alittle.... that is the only mod allowed for that chassis.

Class 2: PRO MOD

Any 1/43 chassis. Scratch built welcome. Any wheels, tires, motor, magnets. Wheelie bars welcome. Any 1/43 body of any material.

Class 3: RAIL CAR...

Started Friday night on this car and finally got it finished up this morning.

I have not got the real close up pictures figured out on the camera yet but I would
like to point out the decals I used on this car they are a combination of clear backed
and white backed water slide. Sent to me by our new friend Cargo from the other side of the pond.
Very high quality and very easy to work with. I am very impressed with...

A couple photos of my Bash Bus for now!!! Started it back in the summer and then along came the routed one that took time away from it!! At work today I am finally applin' the final topcoat!!! And......Don't laugh...the Track Manager made me do it!!!!!!! Alot of lead in it and I think it is tippin' the scale at 3.7oz.!! If I'm readin' the rules right, Nurd is only runnin' at 5V on wood so I may need to remove some of the lead...

Well tonight I worked on and wrecked a guide for my Hot Rod for about 2 hrs, got frustrated and decided to work on my Turkey Day Bash Bus. Here are a couple pictures of the bus progress. Sorry a couple of them are a bit blurry.

Its making me want to build a drag car.

Since we have the return of Scoobe, I did some quick builds for cars to hit the Winter National Drags.....

The Panel/Sedan built to the hilt (as inspired by Mike Willy's)................ And a 58 El Camino from the days of old.... oops 59 Elcie....Thank Lib.

I got this Kikusui electronics corp. model PAD 250-2.5L 0~250v 2.5a

it makes these goldmine motors come to live been up to 22volts and pulling almost 2 amps by the meter heres a picture of it.

One of Cjent's cheese-and-wine road race minions parked a Heller/Humbrol Porsche 928 in the driveway of the Nerf Fab Shop boneyard, blocking access to that most popular venue. After The Boyz scoured the vehicle, they discovered an absence of VIN and other serial references on the car.

In an unrelated incident, three of the crew were later treated for acid burns on their hands.

I have a few Bachman cars and have not had much success running them. The electrical contacts aren't reliable and the tires are hard. What have you guys done to get these cars to be good runners?
