This is where I'm at on my sidecar conversion. After reading the list of events there's some concern that my choice of a Polyfect motor may not be the motor of choice. Second bike will have the large goldmine.

There are some interesting differences from the chassis I bought last year. What's up with that? (New one is on the LEFT)

I am looking for a 69 Comaro SS resin or vacuum form body. Given my choice I would prefer resin. I would like it as close to true 1:43 as possible.

Stranger Enterprises pulls modified from the paint booth

Well, the Mayhem entry was painted last night and lettered today. I decided against bondo. The car is light and I want to keep it as light as possible. Plus, the bondo would cover up the tooling marks and character which has naturally evolved throughout the modification process. Here is my entry into the Mike's Modified Mayhem event.....the front nose and rear treatment are re-designs since the last posting. Better, I believe.

Have my table built and initial layout, once I start adding scenery I will add elevations and decor. I am going to have each lane with its own 7.5 power supply to start. It will evolve as the track gods defile it .

Oh, braver than the bravest among us, Mr. Nerf Barz will take his virtual life in his hands when he jumps a school bus over twenty cars as the feature attraction of the Stranger Thrill Show and Copious Nonsense Parade....or......STSCNP ( pronounced sits'-ka-nip ). Stranger Enterprises interviewed a dozen stuntmen who said, to the man, someone would have to be cuckoo to jump that rattle trap over the curb, let alone 20 buses.

Front Wheel Drive Truck

Been wanting an affordable garbage truck for some time now and found this at Big Lots, which is close enough for now. The cab is diecast metal with the balance in plastic. In my haste to prepare this truck I put it together traditionaly, rear wheel drive. Imagine my suprise when even with my strongest magnets the truck refused to move on the track. The rear tires would just spin until you had enough magnet to stop them, but still no movement.

M1 was here a few minutes ago and dropped off a few new bodies. The newest addition is the '68 Mustang. I'll post a pic Saturday evening. (they look good!)

He is also getting the process improved for thinner bodies which means less weight.

Power passer keeps deslotting on lane change track

Hi, I bought a 4 lane power passer set for my kids. We have yet to get 4 cars on the track at once. The cars constantly deslott at the lane change section. Usually every 2-3 laps.
The guide pin is hitting the track at the point where the lane splits. Also, the cars will stall
on the curves of the inside lane. The tire slides off of the inner edge of the track and the guide pin binds in the slot. As for the deslotting, I think it is caused...

Still neets paintin' an' screens an some noif bars up front, an' it'll be ready t' goze. Noif took it out on da track an' set heze gonna keep da small Oitin magnit on bort cuz it powerslites...

How about some resin people for scenery. The figures I have been working with are cheap, soft, rubbery plastic. It has a "greasy" feel and paint comes off in big sheets if it gets a start. Also, the choices appear to be cowboys and Indians, or police and fire, or construction workers. I want mechanics and tire changers and turn marshals. Drivers would be nice, if only "shoulders up". Spectators are always handy to sprinkle around.
