For years, I've always bought wrecked cars at salvage auctions and rebuilt them. Small gas savers are selling like hot cakes these days, I can't build them fast enough.
Or get them bought and into the shop fast enough. I have been using my ramp tow dolly to haul the cars back from Houston and Baton Rouge but hauling cars one at a time is time consuming, not to mention the cost of diesel, but mostly it's a time issue for me.
If I bought two or three cars at a single...

SEMO Race night 5-10

SEMO race tomorrow Saturday-May 10. here at Hobby World... some new Sprint Plus cars will make their appearance along with at least one new H&R car I know of for the C&B.... Pork tenderloin is on the menu (wife Tracy will be grilling it at home and bringing it in) come one come all!

Dremel Issues?

Has anyone with newer model multi-speed Dremel tools had an issue with the brushes?

Mine is 6 months (give or take) old and sometimes during operation the thing just stops running.

Pressing on the sides where the brushes mount fires it back up.

So I changed brushed and made sure things were tight and spring tension was right.

Still does it...not as much, but still happens.

My older model never did this and nor does my cheap battery one I got....

I collect scrap and haul it away for people as a part-time summer job. It is feast or famine but gets me some fun money. Today, I got a flat panel monitor in the junk. The guy threw away the power supply and couldn't get it to work. It is small but it now does the timing for my track. I had a walwart that was perfect for it.

What amazes me is what we consider junk and how little people know about how things work. This is the second major thing I got because the person...

Well scratchin' and scrimpin' and savin' just ain't cut it this year!
I'll be starting a second job Monday.
Working for a friend in his plastics factory.
I'll be running some sort of machine that extrudes all sorts of polymers at mega-temps (400-600 deg.).
After leaving the day job at 4:30 pm I'll be heading off to the plastic factory, arriving at 6:00 pm and working till 2:00 am. Bed by 3:00 am, and start the whole thing over again at 7:00 am....

On another forum I found this formula for working out your speed racer name . It's very simple really, use the name of your very first pet as your first name and the model name of your very first car as your second name.
For instance Mine would be Sam Cutlass (Sounds kinda shifty huh?)

Kyle Bile is roilin' and a-broilin' in Junior Nation in this area. For example, this phone call to the Primetime with the PackMan radio show on Charlotte's WFAN 610 AM:
