This car has been around for quite awhile. Its an older Pro-Track chassis with some really cool bar work. It needed a face-lift though. Tom put a new mounting tray in it to give it some body float, then a full re-paint.

I have been watching all of the incredible modified builds and I can honestly say that there is some really good and imaginative stuff here on this board. I would though like to see some newer ground pounders. Not that I'm complaining ( I grew up on the old coupes). I have had this idea for a modified body since the 80s. What about a Porsche 911. It is low and has a shape similar to a coupe if you really look at it. I know that there must be a few bashed up doner...

This is not a car you see done very much. Maybe that's because most of its claim to fame was on the street & at the drag strip.
Norb (Bennnsinville Bomber's) did one up as a oval car & I love it.

This one will go roundy round ... it will just look like a Hot Rod. If it had numbers on it ... it would fit in the Trans Am class.
When I sat the body on the chassis, I couldn't get the look I wanted. So I took the top 1/2 of the chassis & cut a slot where...

It has been awhile since I started this kit. Sometimes as most of you know, other projects/honey-do's get in the way. And I also admit I was a little uninspired half way through the build. So I took a break from it for about a week or 2. Finally finished today.

Slot car newbie here. I'm not trying to steal all of your speed secrets, just looking for some help getting into the ballpark. I noticed on my Falcon 7 motor it says "Recammended shortest gear ratio 12/36 (3:1)." What does it mean by shortest ratio? By going to a 2:1 ratio is the motor going to rev more or less? By going to a 4:1 ratio is the motor going to rev more or less? Which direction do they not want me to go? What gear would you recommend for the following on a 3...

Two Major Crashes today(Sprint and Modified)

These were the two crashes today neither one was staged ,the Modified crash was the result of a rider hit the wall flat out lost the whole front end.The Sprint car one was the result of getting over another cars wheel getting air born and taking out the light bridge.All drivers walked away.
