Digital Track w/ TV display???

Can any digital track go out to computer then out to a monitor or out to a tv so everyone can see their times. Or is everyone happy with the size of the counter that comes with the track like artin's and others etc.

Hi All:

My new Carrera D132 Nascar set would not run counter-clockwise without loss of lane changing. The non-functioning procedure was:

1. Flip the polarity DIP on the cars to reverse polarity. (As per the Carrera manual.)
2. Fire up the D132 system and wait the few seconds for it to be in D132 mode.
3. Make sure the lane changers were reversed so the infa-red sensor locations matched the infa-red sensor location on the cars.

Morning guys!
I have a large 4 lane artin analog set up but I'm about to lose the space in my house (kids too old to share room, need to expand - I'm sure some of you have been there) I'm intrigued by Digital to put multi lane racing in a smaller space and would love to hear your input. Carrera D132 Nascar Set Rec'd: No Lane Change???

Received my Carrera Nascar D132 set. Read the instructions, set it up a temporary track (i.e. no lock pins/etc), and tried out a car. The lane changers worked once... and that's it. Haven't been able to get them to work since. Any ideas?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Not off to good start on my re-entry to slotting... huh?

Hi All:

Have ordered (but not received), a Carrera D132 Nascar set. It comes with two cars and two controllers. In order to run 4 cars on the same track will I need the following (in addition to the cars):

2 additional D132 controllers
1 additional power section track piece? (i.e. A controller plug-in section.)

Is that it, or will more be required?

Also, what about just adding a third "jam car" among the as delievered 2 car/ 2 lane...

I have these two cars for sale in the For Sale or Trade section and someone asked me if they could be made digital. Since all I've ever messed with is analog I have no idea so how about it, can they be made digital?

I'm a total newbie to this cool hobby. I recently bought an Artin digital set for myself and son and I just can't get it to work. I've reprogrammed the cars countless times and still nothing. The headlights operate, so there is power- but the cars won't go!....any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I am pretty excited to try the SCX version. I have tried the old PRO-X and the Scaley.

In any case, it looks like fun. Expect a full review very soon. I have some guests coming for a visit and we will all play with it and give opinions, so it won't be from just me:)

The new SCX 2008 releases including the Audi R10 and the Peugeot LM908 HDI will have a different style chip which will allow you to switch from analog to Digital and then back again by switching the chips. The analog version of the Audi R10 and Peugeot LM908 have already been released and come with the new analog chip. New to Carrera 132

I just got my Carrera 132 Nascar set today and the one thing I noticed is that if you run the cars counter clockwise the lane changers wont work, yes before you say it, I did turn them around to run counter clockwise, lol. Is there anyway to get the cars to run counter clockwise and still have the lane changers working properly? I love the set and even got a pit lane with a couple section extensions. Thanks.
