How does the system rate compared to Pro-X??.I had the pro-X,liked it but the track had to be really-really clean.Just toying with getting a set to try out.Miss those Ghost cars

Slot.It SCP01D and Ninco Digital

Ok, slowly "chipping" away at some of my questions….

I have been able with the help of this forum decide on software and now I move on to Ghost car (s)…

I have read about do it yourself boxes but not 100% fond of that approach and then I read about Slot.It's Model: SCP01D controller which to me makes sense…..

They claim it works with Ninco Digital….

Digital lap counter projects?

Anyone doing experimentation with their base units?
I'm really intrigued by things I'm seeing on another sight were people are "debugging" and getting certain lap counter software to work with digital systems.
My new setup would be perfect if I could get PC lap counter working, I've seen vids and it looks pretty cool with the fuel display & timer.

Not a big fan of the plain base unit....

Any Ninco Digital users?

I'm just getting started, bought the Ninco Digital Master set.... Set it up once before leaving for Germany...
Did a couple laps but never mastered lane changing...
Anyone else?
Any Pro's or Con's you want to post?
Don't see many new items with Ninco.... anyone know why?

Carrera Digital in Slot-its

I have put the Carrera Digital chip in five of my Slot-it cars, I took out the slot-it motors and put in the stock Scalextic motors, removed all magnets from chassis and programed the chip to speed setting 5 so the motor only gets about 10 volts while the track is set at 15 volts. This makes for very fun non- magnet digital raceing.

Slot.it's digital system

I really like the Slot.it cars and have about a dozen of them. I want to get into digital. Are any of you using Slot.its digital system? I would like to hear your pros and cons. I know my analog cars will have to be converted.

I have an SCX Compact dual flat figure-8 in the infield of my Artin oval. Since the fig-8 contests are basically those of attrition, I'd like to run two cars per each of the two lanes. I have a couple of Lionel AC train rectifiers, as well as a pair of Artin PP wall warts.

What kind of diode set up would I need? I have no PP Artin chassis.
What do I need between controllers and track?

I have two SCX Compact power tracks which I rewired to run with separate SCX...

I have not seen much digital info. here other than Carrera. I have been looking at the SCX and Scalextic stuff and wanted to know what people thought of them. Researching the different sets I see the basic differeces and what they offer. I would like to know what the people that have actually raced on them think. What are the things you like and what would you change if it was possible.

Running Carrera Digital on analog track

This car, Carrera Porsche Flying Lizard 1/32 Digital, was listed on e-pay.

Seller said it will run on analog if you reverse the switch and pull the trigger on the controller three times to reprogram.

Any truth in this?????????

Whats the best way to figure out how many double lane switch tracks 30347 are needed on a 6 by 17 foot table. I'm sure some of you have done the math. Suggestions wanted. Thanks Ron
