NC-2/NC-5 Question

I think this has been discussed before but couldn't recall for sure --

Are the NC-2 and NC-5 motors the same size? I believe they are -- want to swap out the NC-5 from my Ninco Austin Healy (the yellow LeMans version) for an extra NC-2 I've got. The NC-5 is way too much motor for that partucular car and this would being it in line with the older Ninco Healys.

Hi there, i'm about to buy my real first set from Ninco (i did get some tracks from ebay, but enaugh for an oval)

I do have lots of space to put the track on so?
1) Should i go for square table?
2) 2 or 4 lanes? (2 is kinda boring)
3) Thinking of going digital
4) Even Digital i still could go 4 lanes.
5) Kids are also going to use my track (should be able to go back to analog)

Master Asphalt questions

I had the opportunity to run on a friend's brand new Master Asphalt kit this weekend and noticed a couple surprises. One was that the controllers responded very differently which ended up being that the coils were very different (looks like different wire in each of them) which caused the resistance levels to be very different. I believe I read that they are to be 55 ohms. One was about 59 and the other about 27. The 27 controller by far was better. The 59 required about 90% of the...

I have a Gulf Mosler that i want to put pro grears in. It will be used on a tight twisty track that only has 6' straights.I want to know what gears to put in it to get more pull out of the turns instead of top speed? Do i go higher gearing or lower?

Question about NC-2 Motors

I just received some Ninco NC-2 motors in trade and a couple of them are black and the others are red. Here is my question; Is there any difference between the red and black NC-2 motors?

Are the specs identical? How about performance, do they perform identically? Thanks for your help in advance.

ninco go-kart

Does anyone know where i might find a stock armature for the go-kart? I have two karts and one of them has the afx arm in it and i lost the stock arm. The afx arm is just too much on the new wood track. Besides me and one other racer have the hot arm, not really to fair. Thanx for your time.
