SCX SEAT LEON...fun little car

Now I am not much on this type of car. I got it simply due to the paint scheme. It has been shelf bound for quite awhile now but with Bookie coming this weekend I wanted another car tuned up that we had not raced.

They did a nice job here on the paint and finish.

It also served a sort of dual purpose. Since all of my SCX road course models get the milder RX42, I popped out the 42B this car...

Cobra Daytona

HDtheater has a special tonight on the Cobra Daytona. Runs again a 12 mid-night. Nice bit on the development and production of the car and it's racing history with lots of vintage pics and vids. If you miss it tonight, I'm sure it will run again a few times yet this week.

Anyone out there have an 1/32 scale Artin Stocker windshield they don't need and can part with at a reasonable price? I'm trying to put together an Artin stocker from pieces and need a windshield.

Kurt got me interested in these "beginner" cars. I really like the freedom the Scaley equivalent cars gave me for bash and crash racing, so when Kurt and Jenny came to see me, I dug in and studied a bit. Harry got into them, too, and James (JESIV) is threatening to also. So, I said I would paint one like my favorite Mach 1 in 1969, and play around a bit with the power and chassis.

Today and tomorrow the local model railroaders are holding their annual train show in our small town of Belleville Ontario. The show is held in a local high school and is expected to draw in 1000 people or more over it's duration. The show is said to be the biggest show of it's kind between Toronto and Montreal.

Just wanted to publicly say THANKS to Brent Carlson. I just installed my new 4 lane sensor track ran over 5000 laps and it works great. I now have 3 carerra 4 lane tracks all using Brents sensor tracks and Laptimer 2000 and I couldn`t be happier. Thank you Brent for a great product that is totally plug and play.

SCX COT cars VS Scalxtric

We run the Nascar class on a plastic Scalxtric track, the old SCX body style and the Scalxtric Nascars are comparable, however the SCX COT cars are not even close in competetion, besides being slower , cornering is where the biggest difference seems to be. Has anyone else found this to be true? Any tips or tricks to make the SCX Cot competetive against the Scalxtric?? Wow, what a great week. I'm all healed up from last weekend and ready for some good old home racing.

Locoracer Tom will be coming this weekend and we need to tune up a couple hot rods for Bookies visit on the 12th. I want to play with some lead applications with this new Slot.it F40.

Greetings all- I'm in the process of re-vamping my 4-lane Artin layout and would really to put a nice 180 degree R3/R4 turn on one end.

Does any one have any R3 or R4 curves they might be willing to part with? Also looking for a couple half-straights as well.

I need instructions for a DS-030 Lap Timer

I have a DS-030 Lap Timer and I'd like to get a copy of the instructions for it. I have this DS lap timer that was donated to the Novi Motorsports Museum by a company that was using it for a promotional event during the 2000 Woodward Dream Cruise so it must be about nine years old. I'd like to see if it works and then sell it for the Museum. I have the light bridge and two displays (each display has two lanes on it) so there's enough for four lanes, the light bridge is for SCX...
